Course aim

To develop fundamental skills in Music Technology.

Course description

This online course will teach students how to make music using music technology.

Students will take part in a range of practical sessions and challenges that will enable them to increase their knowledge and understanding of Music Technology using Ableton Live. Covering topics such as:

• Using DAW’s to generate new material

• Recording instruments/vocals to a click track 

• Using audio effects

• A computer 

• Access to a zoom account

• A dedicated notebook for creative writing

• Something to write with

What will students achieve?

Students will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of photography and learn how to capture nice photos. In addition the course will help to enrich creativity, grow confidence and resilience and develop problem solving skills. 

Is there anything students need to bring?

Please ensure the student has access to a computer and a zoom account to log on for lessons. They will need a notebook, and may need some support from an adult with the classroom and homework activities.
