Course aim

 To develop a regular social gathering among students with an interest in Street Dance.

Course description

 Weekly workshop sessions delivered by an experienced Street Dance practitioner.

The after school club will introduce students to the world of Street Dance. The club will choreograph their own dance routine through exploring sub genres of street dance including popping and locking, break dance and much more.  

The club will be given the opportunity to experience the work of other dance groups that will visit the workshop sessions or by taking a trip to see a live performance.

These workshops are designed to be a social experience and is for students who love to dance. Some light refreshments are also included.

What will students achieve?

Students will work toward creating street dance routines and an end of term performance showcase for their dance routines.

Is there anything our organisation needs to provide?

 Access to the school’s theatre room or school hall for the workshop.
