To develop a regular social gathering among students with an interest in Music Technology
Course description
Weekly workshop sessions delivered by an experienced music practitioner. The Afterschool club with explore a wide range of Music Technology giving students hands on experience in the different technologies and ways to compose.
The After-School Music Technology club will cover topics such as:
· Music Technology on tablets
· Open source technology
· DJing
· Loop Machines
· Music and Film
· Discussions on music
These workshops are designed to be a social experience and is for students who love music whether as consumers or creators. Some light refreshments are also included.

What will students achieve?
Students will gain a rounded experience in music making using different forms of technology. The club will develop creativity and musicality amongst students and provide a unique opportunity for students across different year groups to collaborate and form friendships.
There will be an informal listening party at the end of each term which show cases the students created music.
Is there anything our organisation needs to provide?
A classroom with a smart board or projector and speakers would be useful but not essential.
